IT SEEMS THERE ARE FORCES PUSHING MAINLAND CHINA FROM THE REAR
Things seem to be getting teary as international media is pushing harder for everyone in the Kingdom of Eswatini to believe that we are suffering from slow reaction on international gains by falling in a relationship with Mainland China.
It is no hidden fact that the Kingdom of Eswatini has always enjoyed a very healthy relationship with the Republic of Taiwan where the ordinary Liswati has always enjoyed the benefits of rural electrification, specialist doctors invasion, agricultural empowerment etc.
one cannot also forget the economic bailout the Taiwanese have always accorded the KIngdom of Eswatini especially when we had to run to our greedy neighbors , the Republic of South Africa for a loan to pay our salaries. We couldn't get enough of the gesture to pay salaries and at the same time contributed to the continued construction of the ICC.
I may not qualify to judge of what my Government can do but latest reports suggest that loyalist to Mainland China suggest that China is helping the continent , not to pile up debt to our brothers and sisters of the continent but in all honesty despite the populism the Mainland China has been taking advantage of in the continent there is need for reality check for the Beijing ties with the continent.
i don't want to be judged but i have been hearing from those in authority that the Mainland China diplomatic approach is just a 'debt trap' diplomacy.
Love affair between China and the Continent is just cozier as one of the World's power house the United States of America seeks to constrain China and identify it as the new coloniser of Africa.
Based on the international news ...this is what we woke up to this morning:

The 2018 edition is the third FOCAC summit, the other two were inaugural 2006 summit in Beijing and the 2015 summit in Johannesburg.
Aside African leaders, the chairman of the African Union (AU) commission is also in attendance, as is the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General – attending as an esteemed guest. They will be joined by 27 international and African groups as observers.
The interest in the forum is a result of China’s growing influence on the African continent and proves the FOCAC has been pragmatic and efficient, analysts said.
“Established 18 years ago, FOCAC has led international cooperation with Africa and has become a significant marker of South-South cooperation,” said Li Dan, director of Africa Studies Center of China Foreign Affairs University
