soon-ery bred in my adulthood...blame the case of childhood poverty for all?
I know i have been cursed more than i had been blessed...Imagine having been deprived of enough space on an ancestral piece of land in Msunduza due to the Urban Development (which i religiously love to hate). We had to cope with the arrival of neighbours we didn't know where they emerged. it was because of buying power they had to occupy our four roomed concrete slabs which had been destroyed by cyclone (Zamcolo). ...Little did we know that we were to be invaded by a very not so friendly person who had the guts to destroy our trees in the guise that they were a nuisance to his recently acquired land. i had to be hauled before a magistrates court after threatening this citizen who has always been hell boud to my family life uncomfortable and gory..thank you for his fence erected at our doorstep.
i am not from a family of any powerful soul, and since childhood we have never had a priviledge of abusing people in the spaces but have been subjected to such due to our very humble bloodline.
Anyway one day this shall to pass ...is it because of our silence or it is the system that is bull manure?
as i grow , a phoenix of sooon-ery is rising from the ashes of our grandfather Mmiso Dlamini to the place of employment conflagration.
i know i may be regarded as someone who likes controversy or being disgruntled but the bottom line is that i have suffered enough to allow people to take advantage of my kindness and spirit of giving more than enough. It is for this reason that i don't accept to be blamed for the bloated civil service hiring criteria and choice of employees. This once popular man in shiny bald head did it , he managed to tell his occupational offspring that they shouldn't worry as i am one of the disgruntled lost souls of the system. I had tried to mobilise my former colleagues in the communications trade that we should not allow him to abuse power and lie to the former Premier regarding our position in the communication field which we managed to build a policy, schemes of service and only be discarded like used pantyliner for their 'overly qualified' children from households of senior government officials, blue bloodied souls, highly connected innocent souls who had no clue of what was on the foundation and because of the high level of unemployment in the country they had to take the job well groomed to defend whatever happens in front of their widely opened eyes.
i have learnt to position myself at the very heart of so many occupational problems , my presence on the corridors seems to intimidate throughout the days. As I am sitting on this desk still not believing that the employer lost in his appeal to deny me justice where i am claiming compensation for work done for a period of eight (8) years and achieve eight (8) times more than their 20 years in the civil service. i am a proud man i achieved change within the service through my initiatives (even though some are currently sabotaged).
As you would be seeing me in social arenas there shall be diversions on the your line of questioning (especially when you would ask why i am not still part of the guys to be seen in my neighbourhood pubs). Feel free to cry where you deem fit or laugh inappropriately...Hehehe my life vele is soon-ery

a lone dark skinned Brizo challenging the employer on a unfair labour practise-could be frowned upon the members of the Social Media Autocorrect software development team consiting of those who would never see wrong to those holding office.I know i have less credibility due to a not so rich academic certification when it comes to the vexed topic of Industrial Labour Relations- at least i am on the lead for now...Justice delayed is justice denied....

Brian Bongani Mohammed- the quick thing that comes to mind would be the days one was carrying a camera in the employ of Times of Eswatini where we were flooded with mass communications diplomas (it was the best thing to happen 23 years ago). I tried my best, i made my name , i also fell on the wrong side of the good books because of stories or sources i had . i shall always chreish my days in this news room (despite that i was innovative, hardworking but being amongst the lowest paid reporters).Who would have imagined that this poor boy from Msunduza would make His Majesty KIng Mswati III smile as i captured him in camera on Friday and develop a Pictures Don't lie caption stories, th fun of having Dawgs World on Sundays. i managed to secure employment in the civil service and despite my humble position was able to be part of the innovative team that introduced the USSD Government Services tracking platform (*468#), Government Service Charter and others.
i cannot be blowing my horn throughout the quiet Saturday and disputing other civil servants contributions to the system- it has worked for everyone one way or the other our efforts have been effective enough to slowly to introduce work ethics change in the service.
I am feeling blessed that " i dont require special connections for recognition"

Clever- i know i have never invented the letter or word. i am proud to state that i am a contemptuous description of a kasi lad who in his own accord does not look down on the country's cultural lifestyle or rather rather Eswatini cultural methods and customs. This comes along with my cleverness and it is not a bad thing to do.i know these days it has been a liberal perspective where we speak of freedom speech and always blaming our government for her shortcomings on the fight over the COVID-19 pandemic. Somehow i feel my peers seem to be taking their freedom overboard to an extent that we end up disrespecting our Senior Government officials without even considering that they also have their rights to be respected and to be listened to. we are all in this fight against this pandemic and we should accept that cleverness and knowledge are fundamental human aspirations .
It is the good to listen to our Leadership. I know when they speak my peers always try and punch holes with the official statements...mara is it necessary
